The photos above are from the recent performance of The German Expressionist Play held at Hackney Empire taken by Wendy Bevan. In addition to taking photographs, which I am consistently spellbound by, Bevan is also a Jazz singer. For the show, she apparently performed a rendition of Wild is the Wind surrounded by a colorful set, inspired by the circus and cabaret.Below are a few of her photo's from this month's Italian Marie Claire.
