This spring, I will continue to sell my simple sweetheart neckline rompers in a slew of different shades. Some are made with vintage fabric, while most are embellished with vintage trims and buttons.

During my speech, I spoke about how writing a blog and having an etsy shop had really encouraged me to start my first collection, thanks to the kind words I received from readers and buyers unremittingly, and I want to repeat it here too. When I first started writing a blog, I had no idea that there was such a supportive community surrounding it, and I feel really lucky to be a part of this, what seems to be an unstoppable surge of internet networking and friend-making. You all are so lovely, and I'm continually inspired by you. So, thank you.

Before I post about the marvelous Chictopia10 conference, which I was so thankful to be a part of, I wanted to introduce my cheeky little blog contest!
Send me a photo of your bum in your favorite pair of short shorts, bloomers or tights and my favorite photo will win a custom pair of my Griffith Scalloped Shorts in Teal or Floral, your choice! I'll leave this contest running for a few weeks till I choose which pretty backside deserves a proper cover up in the form of scalloped shorts.

I realize by requesting photographs of fanny's, I'm opening myself up to a whole slew of improper snapshots to enter into my inbox, however, do save your energy if that's something you plan to do, as you'll only be laughed at.

Exciting news! I'm delighted that I've been selected along with four other designers to present my upcoming Spring 2010 collection at the Chictopia10 conference! Everyday, I'm so pleasantly surprised by all the lovely emails and comments I receive. It's wonderfully encouraging, especially having just started my debut line last summer. {Let Them Eat Meringue}

Hi friends!
I've got some very exciting news to share with you, which I'll share in my next post! For now, I wanted to tell you about my Let Them Eat Meringue Pleated Dress. I am currently in the process of pleating the fabric for this lovely little number for my Spring 2010 collection, and am taking special orders at a discounted price if anyone orders one now, as it will help me know if I should pleat any extra fabric ; )
This dress is made of a super soft lightweight double silk georgette and is fully lined in china silk. This piece, pictured in Mint, also comes in Black and will be ready to ship in about 3 weeks.

Quick post as I'm currently in a horizontal state due to the worst stomach virus I have ever been stricken with!
