{Silver Saga}

I think I've come across a new favorite photographer via flickr. I adore her use of lighting as well as her mastery of whimsical eeriness definite throughout her stream.

I'm especially admiring her "room" series. Have any of you readers ever tried this slow shutter trickery, or are these smokey orbs real doll house-dwelling ghosts? What are your thoughts?

Here we have a few, very grainy, photographs I was gleeful to discover in my grandmother's closet the other evening. I recently spoke about my grandmother in an interview with GlassesGlasses blog, and how she's been such an inspiration to me. As you can see she is quite a beauty and her adventurous spirit is like magic. I have many more photographs to come, as soon as I acquire a scanner that is capable of capturing images at a higher resolution, alas, here's a glimpse of what's to come!

My gaaaaawgus sister, Samantha and I took a sun filled drive today in search of farmland, abandoned mansions, and I suppose a little bit of impromptu photo shooting on private properties. Samantha has been absolutely wonderful in assisting with the production of my collections; you ladies can applaud her for nudging me to add a little more length to my pieces, thanks to her more conservative, and tasteful eye.
