My first packs of The Impossible Project's PX Silver Polaroid film are currently en route to my doorstep. This is good news to me, and to my adorable Cool Cam, which still (in impressive health since the late 80's) yearns to gracefully, in its cute gray and pink ensemble, spew out memories in dreamy hued solid form.
I'm quite excited to play, especially with the limited edition batch of First Flush which boasts the ability to produce changing results and unexpected anomalies months after exposure. Shipments have started to dispatch from the warehouse as of yesterday. As I confirmed via telephone, the NYC store is 90% sure they will have their first shipment of the PX Silver delivered tomorrow, with the hope of many more unique formats to follow, which are currently undergoing experiments. Mysterious!
Have any of you been following The Impossible Project? It's really a neat (also, do any of you use the word "neat" to describe anything?) story about a team of integral film experts/warriors who saved the last Polaroid production plant and millions of roid lovers from a future of everlasting doom and sorrow.
