Due to a mean cold, I found myself mostly in a horizontal state the past few days. Lying around lethargically did have its benefits as it allowed me to finish up my latest Murakami novel and indulge in an infinite Netflix stream of 30 Rock.
If any of you are a fan of Japanese writer, Haruki Murakami, and his love story, Norwegian Wood, you might like this. Does anyone know if the film is coming to New York? I've searched, though only hastily, and have found zip!

Oh gosh, I love Haruki Murakami, even if he always writes about the same, uninspired, sympathetic men, whose lives are always inevitably interrupted and enlivened by an unknowable, volatile, charming young woman! But Norwegian Wood was the first book I've ever read by Murakami and it'll always be dear in my heart. I'm so excited to hear that a film version has been made of this book!

have you read 'south of the border, west of the sun', by murakami? it might possibly be better than norwegian wood :)

Yes 30 Rock is on there! But, no Mad Men : ( I'm tempted by the Nurse Jackie ads on the subway. Looks good!
