I've always had a desire to visit Montana. When you live in a city as populated and energetic as New York, the need to escape to wide-open spaces is inevitable. Escaping to a hillside cabin surrounded by snow capped mountains and mule deer, equipped with red wine, a cute boyfriend and Lula magazine, was the perfect recipe for recharging.

We shot these photos with 35mm on old Nikkormat cameras. Many more to come..

I absolutely love these photos!

My fiance & I actually live in Missoula, MT. I grew up in MI & wanted to move to NYC to go to design school but I decided love was more important!

Where did you guys stay?

Cannot wait to see more! :)

Wow. You look beautiful and the scenery is glorious. I feel invigorated just looking at these photos. I, too, have been dying to go to Montana. I may have to change my Spring vacation from the Northwest to Montana.

Thanks guys!

Sar Sar Binks - Sounds good! Ha : )

Sam - That's so amazing! I was sad we didn't stop by Missoula on our drive up to Glacier National Park. It looks so cool! We drove 1500 miles around the state, but our cabin was north of Big Timber just on the edge of the "Crazy Mountains" Such an incredible state!

Oh, my goodness. There are no words to describe the beauty of these photos. For a strange reason I have had this urge to visit Montana, and now it's getting worse since I know it won't be possible in a very long time...
